European MPs Plan to Impose Rules on the Use of “ChatGPT”

In an effort to regulate chat apps such as “ChatGPT”, European lawmakers will vote on Thursday on an ambitious text to regulate the artificial intelligence sector that has been repeatedly delayed due to the points of controversy surrounding these technologies.

The EU intends to be the first entity in the world to establish an integrated legal framework to reduce AI abuses while protecting innovation.

Artificial intelligence systems that are characterized by extremely complex technologies raise a lot of admiration and amazement and at the same time a lot of anxiety. Between publishing dangerous content, manipulating public opinion by producing fake images with software such as “Medjourney”, applying mass surveillance systems, and other unknown risks, these concerns prompted prominent figures in the world of technology such as the head of “Twitter” Elon Musk to demand a suspension of development these technologies.
